Customers:

Q: Do the other ReliOn™ Prime Test Strips work with this meter.
A: No. You must use ReliOn Prime Test Strips with the same name as your meter.

Q: I am getting error message E 00.
A: The meter battery was changed. Check all settings.

Q: What does E04 mean?
A: It means the battery power is too low for testing. Replace with new CR2032 battery.

Q: My test strip does/does not have a hole in it, what does that mean?

A: It is completely normal to see small cut outs in the test strip or no cut out at all.  This is part of the “auto-coding” feature.  In the past, one needed to manually enter the code or use a specially provided chip to code the meter. The cut outs or lack of cut outs tell the meter what code to use for testing.

Q: How do I clean the meter?
A: Please clean the meter with a damp cloth with water only.

Q: What does E13 mean?
A: Not enough blood was added to the test strip. Retest with a new test strip.

Q: How can I delete my readings?
A: The meter stores up to 250 results. Test results cannot be deleted. The meter will delete oldest test result to store the newest after reaching maximum of 250.

Q: What is the lifespan of the meter?
A: The meter carries a five-year warranty.

Q: How long are my test strips good for after they are opened?
A: Test strips are good for 90 days once opened. We recommend writing the date you opened the container on the test strips vial. If the unopened test strips are stored properly they are good until the expiration date printed on the vial.
